I love your lesson about acceptance, that’s what we are trying to bring into our lives and though it’s quite difficult to accept a partner who has a completely different belief system it’s quite possible by working within. I have been a religious person growing up in a Christian family and in the recent years have accepted more liberal spiritual path and constantly trying to evolve and grow within. My husband on the other hand is an atheist and does not believe in most things I do. it does make the relationship difficult but that’s what it is. I need to learn to accept. Thank you beautiful.

Beautiful!! This was so timely- as my boyfriend has been out of town for a week and all of my doubts and concerns around this topic have been floating to the surface..
I know before he left I was really pushing for change and experiencing (surprise!) quite a bit of resistance from him…as well as a ton of resentment on my end. Checking in with my beliefs I am absolutely CERTAIN that I have been feeling generally unmet in this area by the men in my life and uncertain as to whether I would ever meet my “match”
I love my guy, but I know my expectations have been making things really difficult for us both. Thank you for shedding some light on MY PART of the equation. I still don’t know if it really is going to work for me to try to build a life with someone on such a different page, but this truly helped to give me a focal point that I can actually shift on my end and do something about.
Thank you, Shelly. You’re a gem!

Thank you Shelly! I read ‘Why Feeling Fear In A Relationship will Help You Love
More’….what a great article! It helps me to understand my relationship and I’m not
crazy. This love is the most intense love I’ve experienced in my life and thanks to
understanding my ‘fear’ can help me to love even more! I cannot thank you enough for your help!
