How to Discover Your Message for the World
Do you know that you have a message?
Yes, I'm talking to you.
Maybe you know what your message is. Or perhaps you're not quite sure yet. Either way, you have one. And sharing it with the world is one of the things that will fulfill you most.
Expressing your message does not have to be a big production. Messages can be loud, but they can also be soft. They can be discrete, and they can also be bold.
The importance of a message doesn't rest on how it's expressed. The importance is determined by one thing only: How much your message resonates for you, and how it impacts the world.
Deep down, we're all called to be of service. What this means is that most of us are aware of a desire to help others. Even more than that, most of us recognize that this desire is actually our purpose in life.
It's a beautiful thing to feel drawn to help other people. Once you realize this, the next question becomes, how do I do it?
Luckily the answer is not far away.
Your message - or the way you can be of service to others - is to help them with the very thing that you have struggled with the most.
Don't be fooled by the idea that you don't have anything to offer because you're still in midst of your struggles.
This belief is far from true.
You don't have to have all the answers to offer your message to the world. In fact, it's better if you don't (that would make you perfect, and that's not that interesting).
Yes, you can be right in the thick of it and still be of great service through your vulnerability, your humility, your empathy, and your desire to connect with people who are going through a similar thing.
I often joke with clients by saying, "Do you think I became a love coach because relationships have been easy for me?" Of course not!
I became a love coach because, quite honestly, it feels as though I had no other choice.
My struggles in relationships have been the catalysts for me to understand them. If my experience in love was always smooth, I'd definitely be talking about something else.
The struggle is actually the gift.
So what's your gift?
What have you struggled through?
How are you determined to change?
What are you currently working on?
And how can you help others on a similar path?
It's true that we're all in this together. We're here to help each other live happier, fuller lives; to shine our lights on the path that we all walk.
You are here to help people in the world. Your message is a gift to them. Listen closely to yourself to find out what that message is. And then, in whatever way feels most aligned for you, fearlessly share your message with the world. We look forward to hearing what you have to say.
Please leave a comment below telling us what your message is. We look forward to hearing from you!
