How I Manifested 6-Figures $$

Talking openly about money is something many people don’t feel comfortable with. I’ll admit it, I feel vulnerable publicly announcing how much money I made last year, too.
But it’s this reluctance to be open about money that causes us to struggle with our finances. If we remain in the dark about any subject, we can’t improve it. Consciousness is the key to our growth.

Therefore, if you want to improve your financial reality you have to bring more awareness to your relationship with money. That’s what this article will teach you to do.

Below are a few of the steps I personally took to increase my awareness with money last year, gracefully ushering me over the 6-figure mark in income. By making these six, simple shifts in your life, I guarantee you’ll greatly improve your relationship with money and abundance, too.

1) I strengthened my inner connection to Abundance.

Guiding people how to create a connection to “wealth within” is the most important practice I teach in The Abundance Course. Here’s why it’s so important and how it works:

We create more of what we are.

In other words, we create more of the energy we’re holding within.

Because of this, if you want to create more abundance in your life, you must start by FEELING abundance within. Connecting to the natural abundance of your Being. And this is actually easy to do.

Regardless of your current financial situation, you have access to the experience of abundance within – the experience of wealth within. This energy of abundance is the essence of who you are. It is infinite. It is overflowing. It is always available. And it never runs out.

When you tap this energy within you, YOU FEEL ABUNDANT. And therefore, you attract more abundance to you. This was the foundational process that called (and continues to call) overflowing abundance into my life.

2) I confronted my fears about money.

We all have limiting beliefs and fears about money. These are the beliefs that keep us stuck in a financial reality that isn’t working for us. In order to create more abundance in your life, you have to confront these fears.

To improve my own finances, I had to ask myself: What beliefs about money are making me feel stuck?

By asking this simple question, I was able to face my dysfunctional patterns with money (patterns such as: unconscious spending, under-saving, avoidance of money, all which I talk about in detail in my course).

After these patterns where brought to light I could take conscious steps to change them. This increased my confidence with money, automatically calling more of it to me.

3) I took empowering steps.

You can’t become wealthy if you feel like money is more powerful than you. In order to be in a confident position with your finances, you have to change your actions with money.

For me, this included creating a savings account (and actually putting money in it), increasing my rates to reflect the worth of my services, being aware of my spending and other actions that helped me feel more empowered with money.

Making small changes that put me in charge of my finances increased my confidence, which in turn, strengthened my inner connection to Abundance even more.

4) I recognized my true Source of wealth.

As a spiritual person, I know that money is not my source of wealth. My connection to Source is my true source of wealth.

What does that mean?

It’s knowing that when I’m connected to the energy of Love and Abundance with, I am complete. The seeking for anything melts away when I’m centered within.

Remember what I said above: our external realities always reflect our internal realities. When I practiced staying connected to my true source of wealth within, more wealth (in the form of money) naturally and easily came to me.

5) I took inspired action.

As I simmered in a wealthy state-of-being, ideas that became my next steps in creating more income naturally started to flowing in.

Out of nowhere an idea would pop in my head. If I felt excited about this new idea I would immediately take action.

This is another practice I teach in my course because taking inspired action is a place people can get a little confused. But really, it’s pretty simple. It goes like this:

Inspired action feels like action your soul wants to take.

It’s the feeling of inspiration (of “YES!”) that propels you in particular direction in your life. If you’re practicing “wealth within,” that direction will automatically be towards more wealth.

For myself, by taking actions that felt completely aligned to my soul (and wealth-vibe), I was guided to increase my abundance in ways I never imagined were there.

6) I believed.

A very important step in creating financial abundance is believing both in yourself and the power and flow of Life itself.

Of the Infinite.

Of the Absolute.

Of what we all are… which is Love, Abundance, and Truth.

It’s been many years now that I’ve been practicing aligning to Love within to create my reality from the inside-out. The proof always shows up. We create more of what we are – we attract what we are. And when we know the TRUTH about what we are (which is Love in all forms), then that is what we create in life.

“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.” ~ Joseph Campbell

Magic happens when you believe in yourself and the flow of creativity that’s available to us all.

Your internal reality is the foundation for everything you create in the world, including wealth and abundance.

Get to know your experience with money, connect to Abundance within, trust the Universe, and you will absolutely take your financial reality to the next level this year.

Please leave a comment below telling us the steps you’re going to take to increase your internal connection to wealth and improve your relationship with money in the coming months. I look forward to hearing from you!

I have begun giving things away. When I give I feel abundantly rich. This year I resolved to start a separate savings account and so that I don’t delve into it throughout the year (usually I have to use my savings to buy gifts for my large family at Xmas or birthdays) and I buy gifts on markdowns and put them away. I also throw my change into a tin and let it build up. I’m going on a two week holiday. Haven’t had one for 24 years and that’s a separate account.

Janet – that all sounds amazing!! 2 week vacation is a must!! Here’s to an very abundant and prosperous 2015 to you!! xx

Once I was saving for a new laptop and I started saving my money in a moneybox shaped like a chest. Inside of it I put a little yellow bag full of sea salt to attract money. My savings grew faster than what I had expected and I could buy the laptop before the planned time! It may sound like superstition, but it worked 🙂

    • Shelly Bullard on January 6, 2015 at 1:34 pm

Any ritual you do that increases your confidence with money and will always help. Different rituals work for different people for this reason – it’s not about the specific thing that you do (like putting gold in a chest as you described above) – it’s more about how it makes you feel. When you take actions that make you feel more confident about money, you increase your wealth-vibe, attracting it to you. Thank you for sharing!!

      • Sandra on June 18, 2017 at 6:24 pm

Thanks for this reply. I just read that any ritual or talisman you believe will help you manifest your desires will work. I always knew this, but it’s good to have it validated twice.

I have been becoming more spiritual and the more complete and wealthy I feel spiritually, the more the outside reflects that back to me materially! I have been doing small rituals to attract money, and have been clearing old beliefs that held me back. The changes I see since I started focusing on this have been startling me! Complete 180! Thank you for this article, this path is a good one to walk along and learn more about in time! Love your work and not surprised it’s working for you too <3

    • Shelly Bullard on January 6, 2015 at 4:20 pm

Awesome Chelsea!! So exciting to hear about your changes! Thanks for sharing. xo

    Dear Shelly,
Yes, being connected to our source is everything, it makes it all easy and flowing. I’ve had many experiences when things happened that we so-call miracles. Anyway, I enjoy reading your newsletter, thank you!

      Thanks Eveline!! xoxo

    Hi Shelly!
I just started my own business in September. I am a hair stylist and my goal is to have a full clientele by the end of the year. I connect to Source(I call it my Holy Spirit) and every day I feel that love and abundance inside of me and do my best to project that Source out to the world. I imagine clients coming to my door in need of a great hair stylist, which is me. Sometimes, if I am having a slow day, I will actually leave the salon and do something that makes me happy, like shopping at the thrift store or browsing in a bookstore and on so many of those occasions, a client will call or text me. I think the more I do things that make me feel good, the more clients I get. It is very interesting. If you are ever in sunny Southern New Mexico, I would be honored to do your hair:) Thanks for all of your inspiring words!

    • Shelly Bullard on January 7, 2015 at 2:58 am

Cat! I love this!! Yes – keep holding that inner-vision of a full, abundant salon and it (and you) will become that. So great! Thank you for sharing. And New Mexico is on the top of my list. Maybe I’ll get there in 2015!! Lots of love. xo

Saving money will definitely increase your wealth-vibe! Thanks for sharing, Lucy. xo

  7. Tariq Aftab on January 18, 2015 at 5:53 pm

Its never too late. I gone through your article about money and how to attract to it. It is really amazing and also mind blowing. Believe or not, it is a fact that at this moment I am very close to “hand to mouth”. In other words ‘out of pocket’. But the other fact is that I am very confidant inside, feels much more richer than ever. The quotation you refer about the internal reality is much more attractive to me than wealth. I do try my best to follow you and get guidance in this regard, to have money not in abundance but to live a comfortable life. All my best wishes.

    • Shelly Bullard on January 18, 2015 at 7:35 pm

Love it, Tariq! Yes – keep connecting to wealth within and it will absolutely make it’s way to you! Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Just wanted to say Thank you! This has been very helpful. I still do not have something set but reading this really helped to get a start as to how I go about my thinking about money.

  10. Julie on February 8, 2015 at 4:33 pm

    Hi Shelley
I was wondering if you can help me ?

I have recently discovered I have been suffering form a condition called learned helplessness, probably through most of my life, I was watching a Tony Robbins video on You Tube, which was when I first heard of the condition. After researching the cause and effect I realised that this has totally affected my life, more prominently over the last two years in particular.

I also understand the power of limiting beliefs and have repeated the same patterns with money throughout all of my life. Basically I will be 50 this year and the thought of living the rest of my life in the way the past has been financially is unbearable.

I wrote down all my limiting beliefs and replaced them with new empowering ones, but they just don’t feel real to me. It feels like something inside of me is resisting everything.

I desperately want to turn my life and finances around and start to really live life, but all feels futile. I am very creative loving person and want to go out and help people, but again just having the energy to do this feels like an uphill battle.

Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Kindest regards

    • Shelly Bullard on February 9, 2015 at 5:10 pm

      Hi Julie,
Yes – you’re right. If you just band-aid new, good feelings on top of old feelings, nothing is going to change. You have to gradually climb into a better feeling state. The process is longer than what I speak about in this message, but my best advice would be to read as many books as you can about spirituality and people who have changed their lives, and follow what they have done. Start with A Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson. Also, I would drop the diagnosis “learned helplessness” – it just keeps you identified with a small sense of self and keeps you locked in a victim-mentality. Instead, you need to start choosing and identifying with who you want to become. Hope this helps. xo Shelly

I have been trying to work on changing my beliefs around money. I have a lot of things going on from my childhood. I accumulated major debt during college on credit cards and loans and worked two/three jobs to get them finally all paid off. What a feeling!
I now am in a very complicated situation. I let my boyfriend borrow a lot of money, use my credit cards and some savings and now I am back in debt, although it is in my name, is not “mine”. He is in a tough situation and unable to pay me back. Or if he does it is very little at a time. I am now feeling major resentment with him owing me money, but disappointment in myself for allowing it. I have now been trying to pay down that debt, because I have so much anxiety around credit card debt now and don’t want to have any. I am just upset that I could be putting this money towards savings or travel and now feel back in the hole….Do you have any advice for me? Thank you.

    • Shelly Bullard on March 18, 2015 at 1:18 pm

I’m going to be launching my eCourse about how to manifest money very soon, but what I can say about your situation is it’s very common. What happened is you haven’t changed your vibration about money (and debt) significantly, so you unconsciously fell back into the same hole. It’s what we do in relationships, too (we continue to cycle through the same patterns with different people). Changing your deeper association with money (I like to call it your wealth-vibe) is going to be crucial in changing your money situation. That’s all I can say about it now but I’ll be writing more and more about it in the coming weeks. xo

My very first pay check in 1977 while in training was today’s equivalent of $10 or those days it was $80 (I am from on India, the training pay check was Rs. 600). I sent my pay check to my mother and two sisters. It came to my mind it was my first pay check and I should not borrow money from anyone for any reason. I kept my word to myself.

Over the years I realized that the more content we are the more abundance we attract. As they say more you give more you get. I do give for a cause..to help somebody in a small way, so that they see the path to their dreams or realities of life.
